ETA 3:30pm EST: I’ve been told that Gale was moved out of critical care this morning and is coherent and that his prognosis is looking good with each passing hour. Please keep in his your prayers.
- We’ve learned Gale Harold, the actor who plays Teri Hatcher’s boyfriend on “Desperate Housewives,” was seriously injured yesterday in a motorcycle accident.
He’s being treated at the L.A. County – USC Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit. We’re told his shoulder was screwed up. Harold’s rep just issued a statement saying his shoulder was fractured and he’s in stable condition. And the slightly ominous words — “Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery.”

A source who knows someone on the DH set says that he was also suffering severe head injury, but I can’t say this is confirmed as it wasn’t mentioned above. So please keep Gale and his family in your thoughts as we all pray for a full recovery.

Salon’s report from TMZ says there was brain swelling.
My prayers go to him and his family.
Oh, I just got back from class and I had all these msgs about the accident. I was so scared, and the latest was only that he was in critical condition, injured shoulder, and an expected full recovery. Oh, my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family and friends.

That’s good news if he’s been moved out of ICU. I’ll be glad when there’s another official update. It’s amazing how close you can feel to someone you’ve only met once but I couldn’t stop thinking good thoughts all day and hoping he’d be okay.
